2020 - The Year in Review

Date - 22 June 2021

Strong stakeholder support and innovative thinking allowed SQRH to rise to the challenge of rapidly providing student-led services via telehealth and bringing a range of our rural education workshops to an online format. This has allowed us to maintain our focus on growing a highly capable and professional rural health workforce.

Some of the key highlights from 2020 include:

  • The official opening of the $3 million Training Facility in Charleville;
  • Facilitating 1,476 regional student placements;
  • 7,133 weeks spent by students on rural placement.
