https://www.sqrh.com.au/sqrh-h...SQRH has re-opened its student-led Toowoomba Health and Wellness Clinic
(HaWC) at Baillie Henderson Hospital campus.
SQRH Clinical Educators and nursing and allied health students transitioned the clinic to a telehealth service during the peak of the Coronavirus pandemic throughout April, May and June. With the easing of restrictions, the clinic has returned to the gym and pool in a face-to-face format for a four month program.
Participants, who are referred to the clinic by their General Practitioner, access a number of health and wellness services including gym sessions, pool exercise, healthy eating and cooking skill sessions, health education activities and mental wellbeing support.
Physiotherapy, exercise physiology, dietetics, nursing, psychology and social work students, all working under the supervision of qualified and highly experienced health professionals, support participants to reach their health and wellness goals.
Anyone interested in the clinic can phone the Health and Wellness Clinic on 4699 8691 or VISIT HERE.
