SQRH and the University of Queensland (UQ) are offering training modules for students wanting to enhance their skills in delivering clinical practice via telehealth. These resources have been developed by the University of Queensland's Centre for Research Excellence in Telehealth and Centre for Online Health.
Eligibility for free access to these modules is only available to staff from UQ, University of Southern Queensland (UniSQ), Darling Downs Health (DDH) and South West Hospital and Health Service (SWHHS).
The training is comprised of 6 modules: 5 online modules, along with a compulsory practicuum to attend on completion of the online modules:
1. Fundamentals of Telehealth
2. Telehealth technology
3 . Service development and implementation
4 . Service delivery
5. Evaluation of Telehealth services
6 . Compulsory 3 hour practicuum
The modules will be released online from Tuesday, 2nd April 2024.
There is a compulsory practicuum to attend to complete the training. There are two dates to select from:
The practicuum can be attended either face to face or via Zoom. Please select your preferred date and mode of delivery in the registration. There are limited spaces for each practicuum and your preferred time / day cannot be guaranteed.
A Certificate of Completion will be provided on completion of both the modules and practicuum.
