Been considering 'going rural' for your clinical placement this semester?

In addition to all of the other great support, SQRH is offering a limited number of $1,000 bursaries to eligible students.

What's the eligibility criteria?

  • You need to be planning an extended rural clinical placement (8+ continuous weeks) during Semester 3, 2021, Semester 1, 2022, Semester 2, 2022 or Semester 3, 2022 (placements must be commencing in 2022).
  • Completing your clinical placement in a rural location (classification MMM4-7) within the SQRH region. Please note Toowoomba City is classified as MMM2 and is not included as an eligible location.
  • The bursaries are only available to domestic UQ and USQ Nursing, Midwifery and Allied Health students.
