The overarching focus of research at SQRH stems from the Rural Health Multidisciplinary Training (RHMT) Program Framework key performance indicators (KPIs) for research (i.e. KPI-5). In this context, the principal aim of SQRH research is to “develop and strengthen an evidenced-based rural health research agenda” in three main research priority areas: (a) Rural health workforce; (b) Rural health services; and (c) Rural communities.
