SQRH has been established to increase rural health training opportunities for nursing, midwifery and allied health students and health professionals in regional, rural and remote communities.
SQRH supports rural health professionals and students to engage in high quality rural health research.
SQRH provide a number of learning opportunities for health professionals and students to improve their interprofessional practice skills.

This workshop is designed for students currently on placement in Chinchilla and surrounds to learn about, from and with each other. This training will provide you with the knowledge and skills to become part of an interprofessional, practice-ready health workforce.
This workshop is based on the six competencies from the Canadian Interprofessional Health Collaborative Framework:

“Currently, RAT testing and mask wearing is mandatory at Illoura Village, with RAT tests provided free of charge at the facility. Please arrive 30 minutes prior to the workshop commencement to allow enough time to complete your RAT test.”
