Linda has been part of the SQRH journey since inception and, with her passion for rural and remote health workforce recruitment and retention as well as staff development and “grow your own” rural health strategies, she has helped pave the way for many projects and programs.
SQRH Director Associate Professor Geoff Argus thanked Linda for her commitment and efforts and wished her well in her new role with Mater Health in Brisbane. Samantha Edmonds will be the interim Health Service Chief Executive whilst recruitment occurs for a longer term replacement.
