Keeping your finger on the pulse
Date - 8 April 2020
SQRH staff took the opportunity to engage with nursing, midwifery and allied health students at the beginning of their academic journey to promote the benefits of rural placement.
Through student market days and student life expo events at the University of Queensland and the University of Southern Queensland during February, Clinical Educators and Student Support staff talked to students about available accommodation in rural centres, travel support, training opportunities and specifically the interprofessional placements at the SQRH Health and Wellness Clinic in Toowoomba.
